I acknowledge and accept the love and grace of
God, confess my faith in Jesus Christ, and wish to live according to
the will of God, guided by the Holy Spirit. I commit myself to be in
fellowship and covenant with the Cullowhee Baptist Church family.
As members of this fellowship, we covenant together
and with God to:
- Develop a growing relationship with God through
Bible study, prayer, and worship.
(John 8:31-32)

Honor God by being good stewards of all He has given us as we
faithfully nourish, protect, and develop physically, mentally, and
spiritually.
(Romans 12:1-2, I Corinthians 6:19-20)
- Support our ministry by being involved in our programs and by
giving of what we have, remembering that all we are and have comes
from God.
(Malachi 3:10, Psalm 24:1, I Corinthians 16:2)
- Love and care for one another with understanding, compassion,
appreciation, and joy.
(John 13:34-35, Romans 12:4-8)
- Witness by Christian example to those who are not a part of the
Family of God, actively seeking to know and meet their physical,
emotional, and spiritual needs.
(John 15:8, Romans 13:8-9, Acts 1:8)
- Oppose all social evil which separates us from God and from our
neighbor.
(Matthew 5:13-14, Romans 12:1-2)
- Cooperate with other church fellowships locally and throughout
the world in sharing the Good News and ministering to the needs of
others.
(Matthew 28:19-20, I Corinthians 12:12-13)
- Worship with another church family when we are away from our
own; unite with another church, if we change our place of residence,
so we can carry out the spirit of the covenant.
(Hebrews 10:25)
- Seek, by studying the indicated scriptures, understanding of the
divine imperatives upon which our covenant is based.
(II Timothy 3:16)
With the help of God and my church family. I
joyfully enter into this covenant.
